Prosperity Partners ("Prosperity") is a Chicago-headquartered public accounting firm offering best-in-class tax, accounting, and personal finance services to dynamic businesses, high net-worth individuals, and family offices. With offices throughout the United States, we are seeking an energetic accounting professional to support our growing practice. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, exceptional leadership qualities, and at least three years' accounting experience. Excellent communication skills are required.

The candidate will report to the firm's Managers and Partners and will work directly with clients to provide financial accounting and consulting services. Candidates should enjoy working in a deadline driven environment with demanding clients.

We accept resumes consistent with the following background and ability:


  • Accounting Degree from an accredited four-year university;
  • CPA designation or has made progress toward passing the exam;
  • 3+ years' experience in an accounting position;
  • Proven understanding of complex accounting entries and ability to draft GAAP-based financial reports;
  • Success in prior work experience with the ability to self-manage, prioritize assignments and interface with clients;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complicated matters to clients;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to multi-task;
  • Enthusiasm for technical topics and interest in learning opportunities via research, CPE, and discussions with peers;
  • Contributes to an established culture of positivity and respect;
  • Self-motivated to seek new projects. Recognizes strengths and weaknesses and appreciates peer feedback;
  • Availability to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
