DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Nurse Aide at South Mountain Restoration Center, you will provide basic care to residents by meeting their personal hygiene, physical, and emotional needs to maintain a healthy, clean, and safe environment while meeting basic licensing requirements. In this role, you will make decisions regarding resident care based on training and in consultation with Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Registered Nurse Supervisors, Nurse Managers, and the Director of Nursing. - Full-time employment (40-hour work week)
- Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with 30-minute lunch) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no lunch).
- Rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays.
- May change based on operational needs.
- Overtime as needed.
- Travel as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.

- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
