PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Plan, organize, direct, and execute pest and weed control program For Dugway PG.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Determine approaches, methods and courses such as weather to utilize integrated pest management or chemical control plan.
* Maintain a complete mosquito abatement program.
* Prepare a monthly schedule.
* Conform IAW federal game reserve regulations to preserve wildlife.
* Trap and relocate wild animals.
* Trap and dispose of diseased animals.
* Operate standard pest and weed control equipment to include tractors, application equipment, and trucks.
* Perform all inspections including general pest and weed. Treat facilities and grounds according to inspections.
* Order, mix, and apply all chemicals related and IAW program licenses.
* Keep inventory, report and label all chemicals IAW appropriate regulations.
* Spray and apply herbicides for weed control.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of best practices for pest and weed control application and mitigation. Current licensing a plus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

*Must have experience/knowledge in Pest Control, Weed Control, and ability to acquire and maintain all required State of Illinois DPH licenses and all required State of Utah Department of Agriculture licenses.
*High School Diploma
*Valid State Driver's License
