Scope:

  • TTM Technologies is currently seeking a Project Manager II within our Aerospace and Defense Business Unit. The Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the designated Program Manager with the execution of major and minor projects with management oversight, strategic Corporate initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally on A&D programs.

Business Management & Program Execution:

  • Utilizes & follows standard project scheduling and planning tools per applicable project/program management processes, TTM ISO-9002, & AS9100 req's
  • Maintains project plans in Microsoft Project regularly and provides reports to supervisor/manager.
  • Leads regular customer update meetings providing current WIP status, Line of Balance status, future production plans, RAIL status, and roadblocks resolution
  • Updates Program Dashboards weekly and presents formal Program Management Report monthly to senior management
  • Participates in or leads project meetings and design reviews, and tracks progress of day to day commitments
  • Monitors project progress vs. staffing plan and reports any resource constraints.
  • Make recommendations on changes or work-arounds.
  • Ensures that problems and issues are dealt with in a structured manner, using accepted problem solving and root cause analysis. Ensures appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Manages the Project 's Risks & Opportunities; tracks progress and provides reports to supervisor/manager
  • Responsible for populating cost models, work breakdown structures, and validating the accuracy of all cost inputs.
  • Typical Project/program Scope is ~ $30M or more

Corporate Initiatives:

  • Must be willing and able to travel. Applicable travel (~5-10%), mainly to TTM A&D sites, in support of program requirements and milestones
  • Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) process management & oversight support
  • Provide TTM A&D sites PLCM initial & refresher training
  • Provide PAG (PLCM Advisory Group) as-needed support
  • Oversight/monitoring of PLCM Spreadsheet status
  • Support documentation updates and management in support of PLCM roll-out at each TTM A&D site
  • PMO/Product Support (SYR) data analytics support
  • Audit programs for process adherence in accordance with 2022 goals
  • Support AS9100 audits

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business with 3-5 years relevant Project Management experience.
  • Customer service orientation
  • Has effective written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • PMI Certification preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to hold a current U.S. Government security clearance to SECRET level.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$87,351 - $153,618

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
