Primary Purpose of Department
The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position maintains and creates system integrations and APIs with campus ERP and CRM and supports integrations and APIs provided by third-party vendors for OneIT.
Summary of Position Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and utilize software interfaces and APIs for sharing data or transferring data between systems.
  • Design complex SQL queries and perform advanced data analysis in order to provide data or meet the reporting needs of OneIT and campus partners.

Minimum Education/Experience

  • Master's degree and 1-2 years of experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience; or an
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with substantial coursework in information technology, management information systems, or other curriculum that would provide a core background in technology.
  • Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in application development that matches business process needs with effective and successful automated solutions.
  • Production database design, development, and testing experience utilizing Access and SQL databases. Experience with data warehouses and/or operational data stores. Experience with data integration platform; Mulesoft would be a plus.
  • Software knowledge to include Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server 2012 or later, PowerShell, and Windows Server 2012 or later. Software development experience with a language such as Python.
  • Strong attention to detail.
