Description & Requirements
As a Practice Management Lead, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the STAR Practice Management system in the Firm's Accounting department. You will assist with user support and data/report requests from Firm partners and employees by delivering reliable, high-quality email and phone support, data analytics, and custom reporting from the STAR Practice Management system.
This is a highly detailed position that requires strong adherence to quality control standards. A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment and independently is a must. Requirements of this position include the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. Confidentiality is crucial to this role, and the candidate must be able to maintain and protect confidential matters.
How you will contribute:
  • Oversee daily activities of the PM Support inbox, monitor end user requests ensuring consistent data integrity guidelines are followed and communicated to users, and are of a nature consistent with the Firm's policies, procedures, and culture
  • Weekly review timesheets and expense entries and file expense receipts timely
  • Enter and monitor Accounts Payable for assigned markets
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
  • Provide training to client facing team members on billing best practices
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or higher preferred
  • 3 years or more of experience in a similar role
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Functionality, formulas), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe
  • Ability to learn and apply accounting and reporting principles is desired
