Position Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: 1 Patriot Place, Foxborough, MA 02035

Summary of Duties: Design and deploy wireless and wired network infrastructure solutions that control Wi-Fi network access points in public and private environments. Design fiber-based wireless and wired backhaul solutions. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current capabilities. Track and record roadmap, managing RFQs, benchmarks, and more. Resolve issues related to traffic flow, security, backhaul, and mobile data offloading. Create security policies for trusted/untrusted Wi-Fi access and improve network security. Provide overall network engineering support for a broad range of programs. Assist in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems. Manage structured cabling infrastructure, telecommunications, and third-party support vendors. Maintain and monitor various Network and Security Management Systems and respond to incidents, events and alerts. Maintain asset inventories.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer and Information Systems Security, Networking or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or Network Systems Analyst, Security Systems Analyst, or a related occupation. Requires experience in: (1) large-scale network infrastructure; (2) OSI model with a strong understanding of Layer 2 protocols; (3) Layer 3 protocols such as IP[v4|v6], TCP, UDP, ARP, [HSRP|VRRP], SNMP, or NAT; (4) Layer 3 Routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, ECMP, or VRFs; (5) stateful firewalls, non-stateful filtering, and packet inspection; (6) and network monitoring and management tools; and (7) Network protocols such as 802.1, 802.3 and 802.11.
