Overview
Interstates is seeking an ambitious and innovative Studies focused Electrical Engineer who wants to make a difference in electrical system safety while having the opportunity to travel and collaborate with diverse teams. The ideal candidate is results-driven, safety-focused, and an effective team player. In this role, Electrical Engineers are responsible for completing site visits to record and analyze site electrical system components. Key responsibilities include organizing data from jobsite visits to create analysis reports, proposing electrical design options to mitigate risks, and using SKM software to perform Arc Flash, Coordination, and Short Circuit analysis. Additionally, engineers will write reports to communicate electrical hazards, precautionary measures, and remediation recommendations. Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience. Education and/or Experience: B.S. degree from a 4 year ABET Accredited Engineering program. Preferred 1-3 years of experience; or a combination of education and experience. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required and will vary according to business requirements. Generally, travel should not exceed 25% of your time.
