Special Notes:
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Associate to join an interdisciplinary team at the Institute for Advanced Computational Science (IACS) at Stony Brook University. The selected candidate will engage in groundbreaking research focused on the mechanisms of human creativity and innovation, exploring how creative ideas emerge, develop, and spread within different contexts and systems. This work will involve a unique combination of computational simulations (including agent-based models) and large-scale experiments with human participants. The project will investigate theoretical and empirical dimensions of creativity, bridging computational and experimental approaches to better understand how creative processes play out in different domains, particularly music and language.
