Under the direction of the Director of Strategic Sales, the Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for strategy development and implementation for new and existing customers, namely construction and solar accounts. Proactive identification, relationship development and program planning will be key focus areas to enhance success through strong platform solutions with the HellermannTyton portfolio.

Responsibilities



  • Accelerate revenue growth through development of larger-scale accounts with geographically dispersed project portfolios.
  • Specify HellermannTyton wire management and identification solutions with a goal of maximizing HellermannTyton content on end-user projects and platforms.
  • While working directly with key customer stakeholders, build sales strategies and implementation plans, through a defined sales excellence program, to win and grow target accounts.
  • Build and lead a cohesive strategy with other HellermannTyton salespeople ensuring a uniform approach across the customer enterprise.
  • Development and execution of market-based pricing strategies.
  • Proactively communicate opportunity milestones and changes to strategies across all relevant stakeholder groups.
  • Work with internal HT teams to develop products, solutions and associated marketing initiatives to secure customer business
  • Drive revenue while maintaining focus on profitability.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's other advanced degree a plus
  • Previous experience working with or in the construction industry is preferred, construction sales experience highly preferred
  • Must have proven specification abilities or the ability to demonstrate proficient problem-solving abilities
  • Technical aptitude and background, with the ability to understand, explain and coach internal and external customers on electrical applications within energy or commercial construction markets preferred.
  • Polished presentation skills both in-person and virtual on-line setting (including PowerPoint), with sincere demeanor.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels within a customer organization including upper management and field personnel
  • Ability to travel 50% time, including overnight
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Must have valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and adequate insurance
