Your role:

The HR Representative contributes to our mission of saving and sustaining lives at our corporate office supporting our Healthcare Systems and Technologies (HST) segment and will be responsible for providing support and will be a trusted partner to assigned HR teams, employees and leaders. The position is responsible for both transactional and tactical HR support. The candidate will possess the ability to communicate, influence, and collaborate effectively with all levels of employees. The candidate must demonstrate willingness to be "hand-on" and will possess a high degree of motivation.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs (e.g., talent review and planning, annual compensation review, performance management).
  • Support employees and managers, as needed, regarding HR matters (e.g., employee relations, leaves of absence, etc.).
  • Partner and collaborate closely with functional COE members to resolve HR matters.
  • Point liaison regarding HR operations matters (e.g., processing HR actions, drafting content, off-boarding processes).
  • Point liaison to lead employee-related data (e.g., extract data reports, apply foundational analysis, build data files).
  • Lead various employee data audits (e.g., funding entity, training courses).
  • Work independently to resolve straightforward HR matters. As well as help resolve moderately sophisticated HR matters.
  • Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies and processes.
  • Raise HR matters to respective HR team members, as needed.

What you'll bring:

  • Ability to drive operational excellence, support multiple team members, and promote partnership.
  • Effective communications, both written and oral.
  • Focused in work approach and execution of responsibilities.
  • Ability to learn, adapt, prioritize, and succeed in a face-paced environment.
  • Strong technology application and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office and HR Systems (e.g., WorkDay).

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in human resource management or communications preferred
  • 1-3+ years of human resource professional experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HR management components including performance management, development, compensation, culture and engagement, change management, organizational design, and inclusion & diversity preferred
  • Experience working with both exempt and hourly workforce preferred

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000.00 to $82,500.00 annually. The esti6mated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
