What You'll Do
  • Purchases scrap metal materials in accordance with current market conditions based on pricing standards/models established by Company policy
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Develops the growth of business activities and profit with assigned accounts
  • Maintains accurate records of all buying/sourcing and prospecting activities including closed sales and follow-up activities
  • Reach out to businesses that generate scrap in order to buy their scrap based on providing competitive pricing and providing outstanding customer service
What You'll Need
  • 1-3 years business or operations experience (can include intern experience)
  • Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service is a plus
  • Willingness to relocate at the end of the program if the next opportunity is at a different location
  • Leadership skills in professional, educational, and/or social experiences
  • Buying/selling skill and product knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to work in all areas of the business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required
  • Must be able to travel within assigned region and other areas as needed
  • Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers
Your Education
  • Bachelors degree preferred
