Position Description

The primary focus of this position is to engineer system and subsystem electrical hardware & software architectures for smart products for use in vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, define and maintain system architectures for automotive components & systems. This includes taking responsibility for the organization and maintenance of the documentation.
  • Implement functionality at both the electrical hardware and software level.
  • Discover, define, and maintain system and sub-system requirements.
  • Develop and execute system verification and validation strategies.
  • Evaluate existing and new products for compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Conduct experiments and perform simulations to verify system performance.
  • Participate in design meetings and communicate with supervisor, section manager, program manager, and other engineers.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to implement architectural specifications.
  • Develop and deploy internal systems to continuously improve the product development workflow.
Required Education & Qualifications

Required Education

  • Currently studying BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or closely related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be results-oriented with excellent analytical, planning, organization, and execution skills.
  • Good skills in the following competencies: Creativity, Planning & Organizing, Team Player, Judgment/Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Diagnostics, Communication, and Follow-Up
  • Must be able to demonstrate some level of proficiency with programming and electrical design.
