We specialize in providing management and technology consulting services to support the business and technology modernization efforts of the Federal Government. ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.

Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and conducting business analyses and studies, needs assessments, requirements analysis/definition and cost/benefit analyses to align business systems, solutions, and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends, reporting regulations and business conditions.
• Develops and analyzes metrics, performance measurements, requirements, reports, and recommendations related to management, organizational structure, policy/procedures, and business systems.
• Identifies potential business risks.
• Areas of focus include but are not limited to business performance, business and economic case analysis, internal control, and enterprise risk assessment.

Required

• Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations/Affairs/Security, Economics, History, Military History, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, and Psychology.
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas: Analytic capability demonstrated through conduct of formal research and assessments of military or intelligence operations, national or international security, or comparable industry or academic research. Analysts should demonstrate a pro-active approach to problem solving and assigned tasks and should have documented experience using traditional analytical methods to support analysis.
• Experience with military analysis.
• Coursework or practical experience with Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Formal Methods, or Operations Research.
• Active Secret Clearance

Desired

• A Master of Science degree in a STEM field is highly preferred.
• Experience designing or conducting wargames.
