Description

The Education Analyst is responsible for coordinating client education sessions and deliverables and for supporting the Director of Education in their job functions. Additional areas of responsibility will include working with client management, medical staff, and product management to support educational offerings to meet the needs of our clients.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gain deep understanding of current education and delivery methodologies under the leadership of the Director of Education
  • Maintain client education schedule and organize assignments
  • Assemble and format education deliverables and in some cases create educational content, as needed
  • Maintain educational content repository, organizing and archiving educational content
  • Act as the main liaison between Client Management and the medical group
  • Take education requests and directly coordinate with the client regarding the educational session, managing invites, presenters, and client preview of education deliverables and feedback
  • Remain actively involved with client education sales calls and implementation
  • Plan, organize, and supervise the day-to-day operations for current and future education events
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • BS/BA in Business or Healthcare related field preferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above
  • Working knowledge of middle revenue cycle and DRG reimbursement, preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of customer service practices and skills
  • Knowledge of oral presentation, communication, and teaching skills
  • Maintain professional executive presence
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Including a proactive disposition towards identifying problems and providing solutions.
  • Knowledge of hospital/acute coding, billing, reimbursement and third-party payer regulation and medical terminology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ability to manage and impart confidential information
  • Proven and demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Suite applications and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to use a PC in a Windows environment, including MS Word
  • Independent, focused individual able to work remotely or on-site
