Senior Shipping Associate

ACARA Solutions and our client in Taunton, MA have a contract to direct hire position available.

• As a Senior Shipping Associate, you'll perform manual and clerical shipping duties such as determining the proper carrier and route and preparing shipment paperwork.
• Clear communication skills will enable you to process outgoing shipments effectively, follow shipping practices and procedures, and route, track, and process shipments using the computer system.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Shipping Associate.

• Precise knowledge of shipping activities/processes, including classified materials
• Ability to support continuous improvement activities
• Outstanding communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering
