Description ACARA Solutions have a contract to direct hire position after 90 days with our Defense client in Canonsburg, PA. Advanced Engineering Technician $37.00-$43.00 per hour (DOE) Position Requirements: Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in relevant fields. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot systems down to the component level. Read and interpret complex diagrams and engineering drawings. Work with electrical components, boards, and panels. Support engineering activities, including: Designing and testing electromechanical systems. Modifying and fabricating experimental circuitry and specialized test equipment. Assembling and checking out prototypes. Conduct system-level troubleshooting based on schematics, diagrams, and verbal/written instructions. Lay out, build, calibrate, adjust, install, and maintain various equipment and systems. Working Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Associate's Degree. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior Advanced Engineering Technician. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Understands implications of work and provides applicable solutions Distinct knowledge of specialized functions and proficiency in the application and interpretation of complex specifications, requirements, standards, and practices.
