Job Description

Raymond West is looking for a passionate Employee Engagement Specialist to join our team! This role will specialize in creating an engaging employee-centric lifecycle by managing our employee experience strategy, which attracts and retains talent through a sought-after work culture. The Employee Engagement and Success Specialist is an organized professional and a self-starter with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This role will support the onboarding experience, rewards and recognition programs, company culture initiatives, employee events, and engagement of all Raymond West employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities will vary with the specific position. Typical responsibilities are listed below. This list is not inclusive.



  • Responsible for the companywide onboarding program for both in-person and remote new hires in collaboration with the Director of Employee Engagement and Development and HR team.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for employees during the onboarding process and provides a consistent and effective experience.
  • Generates reports and suggestions for improvement related to that data to help enhance the hiring and onboarding experience.
  • Collaborates with all departments to share onboarding standard processes and partner with teams to build their team-specific onboarding programs
  • Suggests and implements meaningful changes in both the content of orientation and the onboarding process holistically
  • Designs content, communications and facilitate sessions that will improve the employee experience.
  • Partners with our marketing team to align company culture initiatives with company values and communication campaigns.
  • Responsible for all companywide rewards and recognition programs to include company platform, award management, communication and program enhancements.
  • Assists with the development and implementation onboarding, culture, employee engagement and retention initiatives to support an inclusive employee experience in collaboration with the Director of Employee Engagement and Development and HR team.
  • Responsible for the deployment of the employee survey process and utilizes reports out on the data to create action plans that increase employee engagement, and satisfaction.
  • Develops and organizes training logistics for all Employee Engagement Programs.
  • Provides support for program initiatives, project planning, and planning of events.
  • Assists in creating, compiling, and editing ad hoc reports and presentations.
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflows.
  • Communicates processes and procedures to internal and external constituents.
  • Trains and coach others on process and procedures.
  • Works closely with other departments and communicate with all levels of employees, customers, and vendors both verbally and in writing
  • Maintains a professional attitude in all matters and works at all levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrates drive and initiative for key employee engagement decisions.


Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Organizational Time Management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments
  • Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.

Education/Experience:

Minimum Education and Experience: Determined by position



  • Recommended preferred experience: Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of increasingly more responsible learning, talent development, talent management and/or onboarding experience
  • 1-year minimum related experience and/or training in talent development, talent management, onboarding; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Travel Requirement:



  • 20% (8 hours a week)
  • Must be able to be insured by Raymond West.

Pay Range:



  • The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000. The specific pay offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.


Qualified candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
