Assistant Professor - Physics 38989BR Physics Position Description The Department Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in experimental or theoretical condensed/soft matter physics. The starting date for the position is September 1, 2025. About the Department/School/Area The Department of Physics and Astronomy has about 20 faculty, with research clusters in astrophysics, condensed matter physics and particle physics and additional activity in biophysics, and physics education research.
