Systems Engineer

Overview

SCCI is seeking Systems Engineer to join our team! The successful candidate will be supporting a high-performing DoD acquisition program on our newly awarded WCSS Contract. This position is available for immediate hire and located in Dahlgren, VA.

• Provide systems engineering technical support
• Support systems engineering data design reviews
• Perform requirements assessments and requirements decomposition
• Model system behavior through functional flows and functional descriptions
• Support the development of interface control documents and interface description documents
• Support the development of systems engineering presentations and reports

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
• Five (5) years of general experience working in systems engineering

Specialized Experience:

• Two (2) years specialized experience in at least one major weapons system development program supporting any of the following areas:
  
  
  
  • System design parameters
  • Concept of operations
  • Risk assessment, performance analyses, test and evaluation, and post-delivery support
  • Experience with systems engineering and work management tools
  
  
  
  

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and/or Development, Security, Operations (DevSecOps)
