Manager, VMG Practice
POSITION SUMMARY:
Working in conjunction with the Service Line Director and the Physician Practice Lead, the Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and fiscal health of their Practice.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor 's Degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience in a physician's practice required. Previous experience in a physician's management practice setting and demonstrated working knowledge of the operations of medical practice required.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Membership and certification in a national physician practice management association is encouraged. Strong communication, interaction, customer service, and organization skills required. Proven critical thinking, problem-resolution, decision-making skills, computer literacy in a windows-based environment, working knowledge of standard office equipment. Knowledge of word-processing and database management applications. Behavioral Qualifications: Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence and customer service skills. Strong communication and presentation skills to present information to all customers and/or groups. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely, both verbal and written. Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary.
