Your Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.



  • CDL Class A with hazmat endorsement (or willing to get it)



  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.



  • Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally.



  • Must be at least 21 years of age.



  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.





What You'll Do

As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will ensure safe, secure, and efficient storage and delivery of explosive and non-explosive products in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations. You will manage inventory transactions related to receipt and distribution of products ensuring accuracy of inventory records. Other duties will include:




  • Provide personal interface with internal and external customers and suppliers focusing on delivery performance and service.



  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety



  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations



  • Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values



  • Perform specific duties in order to support site operation and customer deliveries



  • Efficient in computer skills-SAP for distribution functions, receipt, and inventory functions



  • Solid understanding of hazardous material regulations related to transportation and storage



  • Adhere to policies, practices and procedures that align with Dyno Nobel's critical success factors



  • On Site Manufacturing Support, customer support for NE Distribution



  • Receipt of materials/schedule repairs and inventory Control



  • Back up and/or assists other drivers
