Position Summary |
The Assistant Director of Admissions for the Full-Time
MBA and Master of Science in Business Analytics reports to the Associate Director of Admissions. The Assistant Director will support the Director in the achievement of annual admissions goals that will improve the program's national reputation and standing through the recruitment and enrollment of the College's Full-Time
MBA, Pathway
MBA, M.S. Business Analytics and associated dual degree programs. The Assistant Director of Admissions will focus on long-term initiatives, like strengthening partnerships with academic advisors on campus and building brand awareness both on campus at
UGA as well as institutions within the region, including HBCUs. |

Recruitment
- Assist the Associate Director in setting and implementing the recruitment strategy for Double Dawgs (MSBA and Engineering/MBA), Pathway MBA and dual degree MBA programs.
- Fully utilize capabilities of Technolutions Slate CRM, Athena Double Dawgs portal, and Handshake to market to, track, and manage inquiry and applicant pool.
- Develop and maintain communications with undergraduate academic advisors to support recruitment efforts for early-career programs.
- Writing or updating email communications, website content, and printed materials for prospects, inquiries, applicants, and accepted candidates.
- Conduct admissions information sessions.
- Represent the college at on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, traveling as needed.
- Respond to questions from prospective candidates via e-mail or phone.

- Assist with interviewing applicants and evaluating applications as a member of the Admissions Committee.
- Conduct in-person, video, and telephone interviews with domestic and international applicants.
- Evaluate applications for fit with admissions goals, Career Management Center goals, and fit with program culture.
- Make a recommendation of admit, waitlist, or deny to the Director.

- Provide further information regarding pathways (i.e. application and admission, curriculum, etc.) to prospective undergraduate students.
- Coordinate with the MBA/MSBA Office of Student Engagement for academic advisement and course registration.
- Serve as the Double Dawgs Program Advisor point of contact.
