Description
SUMMARY: The Technical Coordinator function will be responsible for all soccer training matters associated with a partner program & the Revolution Academy in terms of player and team development and program management and administration.
In the event of not overseeing or being based with one partner or anchor soccer organization, the Technical Coordinator will be scheduled to work, coach, train and educate multiple soccer programs throughout the year.
Roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to Group Nights, Goal-Keeping sessions, Partner Team Academies Training, Development Camps, Elite Camps, Residential Academies, Coaches Clinics, Volunteer Coaches Educational Workshops, Young Players Clinic Programs and Seasonal Coaching Programs.
Additional focus will be on promoting, marketing, highlighting, presenting, and assisting the Regional Manager(s) with all aspects & levels of Development, Elite and Residential Camps & Clinics throughout the year.
The Regional Manager will oversee, manage, and create your seasonal schedules with the support of the Director of the Rev Academy Partnerships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Perform coaching duties during every spring and fall season based with programs directed by the Director of Rev Academy Partnerships, while liaising with the Regional Manager.


  2. Perform coaching responsibilities during both Winter 1 and Winter 2 seasons with multiple programs.


  3. Function as camp captain for selected camps during the season, along with the position of Health Care Supervisor on specific camps.


  4. Perform coaching for Development and Elite Camps will be a priority during the summer season, typically June through to the end of August.


  5. Assisting the Regional Manager(s) with promotion and marketing of all camps will be a very important aspect of this role and will range from conducting players pre-camp clinics, Goal-Keeper sessions, Skills Clinics, youth soccer club events, attending tournaments.


  6. Perform coaching to the Residential Academies in addition to any Full Day, Team and Pre-Season Camps during the summer season.


  7. Conducting Try-Outs during the year will be a program that will be scheduled as and when needed.


  8. The Technical Coordinator will be based in the NE Revolution offices at Gillette Stadium on a weekly and or bi-weekly basis, the days and times to be confirmed and scheduled by the Regional Manager.


  9. While in the Revolution offices responsibilities will include but not limited to administrative duties, participants registrations, on-line registrations, updating & maintaining program files, creating program files, scheduling of promotional events and follow up correspondence with any and all soccer organizations involved in any promotional clinics.


  10. Assist in the development of any Elite Program initiatives as business dictates.


  11. Perform administrative duties related to scheduled summer camps both Development & Elite and providing support and assistance to the Programs Coordinator


  12. Prepare written reports, presentations, progress and updates to the Regional Manager(s) or the Management team as and when requested.


  13. Perform coaching duties, to lead coaching sessions at various Camps and Training Programs as & when required Partner programs to be determined.


  14. Liaising with the Programs Coordinator & Regional Manager to assist in the control of the department inventory.


  15. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.


  16. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • HS Diploma


  • Three years of experience in player development in the US through youth soccer & the Revolution Academy Training Programs.


  • Ability to produce detailed and prepared reports, statistics, profiles and trends.


  • Excellent Organizational Skills.


  • Effective Communication Skills and Ability to Multi-Task and attention to detail


  • Successful proven coaching track record in the New England Region
