THE ROLE:

The Product Implementation Manager is a member of the Product Engineering Team, responsible for "state of the art" Embedded and automotive products.

THE PERSON:

The applicant must be a team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and have an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and manage key product deliverables/schedules and driving cross functional activities.
  • Drive pre-silicon planning as well as post silicon validation and qualification planning.
  • Drive customer samples execution and high volume manufacturing readiness, once silicon arrives.
  • Manage horizontally across several functional organizations.
  • Work closely with our Asia Engineering and Operations counterparts (extensive interactions within the Product Engineering organization). Also interact with several other internal organizations (Design, Supply Chain, Business and Customer Engineering).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

  • Experience w/ taking CPUs from 1st Silicon to volume production
  • Experience working in a team environment and actively driving solutions
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing horizontally across multiple internal functional organizations (Engineering - US and abroad, Supply Management, Finance)
  • Background in Solid State Physics, Computer Architecture, Digital or Analog Design
  • Background in Product Engineering or Program Management
  • PM Certifications and expertise with current Program Management processes/Tools and ISO 9000 processes highly desired

EDUCATION:

  • BSEE, BSCE, MBA, MSEE, MSCE
