This is a Full-Time Cardiac OR RN position, working 12-hour shifts starting at 6:00 AM, located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.

What You'll Do: While we're eager to train the right OR nurse new to cardiac surgery, candidates must have a strong foundation circulating in general surgery to be considered for this opportunity. You'll be working alongside a renowned team in one of the nation's leading cardiac programs.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

* Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

* Must remain in original department/specialty

* Must remain in original Job Title

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications - External

• One year of RN experience circulating in the Operating Room
• California Registered Nurse License
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
• Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• CVOR experience preferred
• Trauma experience
