As the Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and compliance frameworks within the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. This role involves strategizing, developing, and enforcing security, governance, and compliance protocols while promoting operational efficiency.Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of engineers focused on DevOps, security, and compliance across the infrastructure and development lifecycle.Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, and monitoring.Develop and oversee security policies, compliance protocols, and governance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate security, compliance, and operational standards into development workflows.Drive initiatives that promote the adoption of DevSecOps practices and security automation.Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable, resilient infrastructure and ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.Mentor and guide the team, providing career development, performance feedback, and technical leadership.Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, compliance regulations, and industry trends to ensure that our technology remains at the forefront of innovation.Develop KPIs to measure success and ensure adherence to organizational objectives for security, compliance, and DevOps standards. | |
