Computer Vision AI and ML Lead

Key Role:

Designs and implements effective AI solution architecture and strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the organization's strategies and business goals, and key ethical considerations. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, and software engineering

  • 5+ years of experience developing technical solutions in Python, TypeScript, C++, Java, or C#

  • Experience with deep learning computer vision, including latest transformer based models, such as DINO or CLIP

  • Experience leading software and artificial intelligence projects

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust

  • Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs

  • Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including micro-service design, and orchestration in Kubernetes deployment

  • Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Statistics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
