The Corporate Benefits Manager is responsible for the administration of the organization's health and welfare programs, voluntary benefits and defined contribution benefit plan ensuring they are executed with plan design and regulatory constraints. Educates Crew in understanding the organizations benefit offerings and acts as a liaison between the organization and third-party benefit providers. Develops benefits presentations and communications. Ensures accurate benefit records and prepares documents and reports. Contributes to continual improvements/enhancements to benefit program design to attract and retain talent.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manages department email and phone line to ensure responses are provided to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Serves as the primary liaison to third party administrators to research and resolve Crew issues
  • Performs quality checks of all benefits-related data to include the monthly billing reconciliation for all benefits
  • Develops benefits communication through videos, emails, newsletters, presentations, websites and flyers
  • Maintains Benefits Hub with up to date relevant benefit documents and communication
  • Coordinates onsite and virtual benefit events
  • Submits cases to HRIS and retirement vendors to resolve benefit configuration and reporting discrepancies
  • Calculates monthly Health & Welfare, pension and fringe payments for government contracted Crew
  • Reconciles monthly hours and earnings to determine HCSO and HCAO responsibilities
  • Prepares weekly wires to retirement vendors
  • Serves as a member of fiduciary committee
  • Processes monthly ACA eligibility, enrollment and 1095-C generation
  • Assists in configuration of annual open enrollment in HRIS and executes communication strategy
  • Assists with annual regulatory filings and testing
  • Participates in bi-weekly calls and annual renewal planning sessions with benefit broker
  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and recommends process improvements for the department
  • Drives efficiencies in benefits administration, leveraging vendors and various platforms to streamline processes
  • Conducts regular benefit audits to ensure data integrity
  • Participates in the recruitment and executes integration plan for Specialists on the team
  • Provides ongoing performance feedback and coaching to Specialists
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Additional job duties as assigned


Requirements & Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • SHRM, HRCI or CEBS certification preferred
  • Minimum of two years of Benefits Administration experience
  • Plansource and/or UKG Pro experience preferred
  • Candidates willing to spend time working with teammates in one of our corporate or operational hubs are preferred
  • Human resources experience in hospitality industry a plus
  • Excellent working knowledge employment laws and practices
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills required including Microsoft Suite
  • Must be discrete in handling confidential issues
  • Some weekend work required occasionally
  • A self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Process and quality-oriented with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the Company organization
