Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Manager
Multiple Locations
Garver is seeking a professional, motivated individual to join our Finance Team. This position will report directly to the Project Billing Manager and will offer an array of responsibilities while supporting Garver's Project Managers and the Finance Team.
Responsibilities of this AR Collection Manager will include, but are not limited to:


  • Review AR and outstanding AR invoices daily
  • Coordinating via email or phone (based on days outstanding) with project managers and/or clients to establish goals and targets for the collection of payments
  • Logging project manager/client interactions into an enterprise tracking system
  • Analyze client and project specific AR and collection trends
  • Provide executive level reporting (via dashboards or frequent status updates) on key trends, insights, observations, and conclusions on the health of Enterprise, Business Line, and Planning Group AR status
  • Implementing procedures and policies improvements for outstanding debt collections
  • Ensure compliance with company policy on collections
  • Update and maintain system information regarding client AR contact information
  • Play an integral role on the front-end of new project set-ups to ensure that AR contact information is identified at the commencement of all project related work
  • Train and manage any future employees added to the AR Collections team


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of billing, accounting, or collections experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver and highly driven
  • Proven experience in utilizing ERP systems or specialized billing software
  • Strong time and people management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail


The successful candidate will have the ability to work on projects independently and collaboratively. They must have a service-minded approach, confidence in decision-making, and proven experience in effective time-management.
