Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator/Charge Nurse demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Unit Description: Inpatient Surgical Unit Surgical Inpatient Unit primarily serving the Careplex postoperative patient population. Surgical specialties include Vascular, Neurosurgery, General, Orthopedic, Podiatric, Colorectal, Bariatric, Plastic, Gynecologic, and Urologic. We intermittently provide care to patients with general medical needs.
