Rotational Engineer Development Program

Our Team

Printed Circuits Solutions focuses on flexible circuit technology that serves a diverse customer base across consumer electronics, medical solutions, smart label and automotive applications. Our technical experts possess unique Printed Electronics (PE) and Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) industry experience, and we apply that knowledge to create value for our customers by supporting their needs and pushing printed electronics beyond the limits of conventional circuitry solutions.

We are preparing for growth in our Business Development areas. In our three-year Rotational Development Program this individual will spend a year within each role developing skills in a wide range of areas. These roles include a Costing Engineer, a Field Application Engineer, and an Associate Business Development Manager.

What You Will Do

Costing Engineer:

  • Prepare detailed product proposals which could include PowerPoint presentations, SOW (statement of work) documents, or detailed mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Review cost estimates with our cross-functional team and business development managers to create quotations and proposals for our customers.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the design and manufacturing processes used to manufacture UI (user interface) or PE (printed electronic) assemblies.
FAE (Field Application Engineer)
  • Be a technical resource to assist the Business Development Managers on customer visits to provide technical expertise and understand the Voice of the Customer.
  • Work with the Molex PCS cross-functional teams to develop proposals, costings and quotes.
  • This FAE position would require traveling up to 10-30% of the time
Business Development Manager:
  • Translate the voice of the customer (VOC) into Molex PCS solutions.
  • Associate BDM's will work on all aspects of the commercial side of the business

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience creating presentations and presenting to leadership
  • Experience in engineering across plastic injection molded parts, silicone rubber parts, electrical components, and/or metal stamped parts
  • Experience in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with Bills of Material for electrical and mechanical components
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with various Suppliers, external Customers, Internal Operations workers, Business Development Managers, and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline
  • Strong computer skills with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to manage a lot of information from many sources, consolidate it into a concise message that can be shared with management and business development managers
  • Aptitude for learning a broad range of topics which will be included in the Supplier communications such as plastic injection molded parts, silicone rubber parts, electrical components, and metal stamped parts.
