SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges.

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

Within the SLA Division, Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) comprises more than 80 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, logistics, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 40 programs and projects in the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Dahlgren Division's Integrated Combat System department, Office of Naval Research, and the Navy's Team SUBS office.

SPA's IWS Group office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard.MC



Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide full-time program and contract analysis support to the IWS Group Leader and Deputy Group Leader in the management of a large and complex PEO IWS contract, including: developing and coordinating reports and briefings; coordinating and monitoring action items; tracking suspenses and reponses; assisting with the development and implementation of program schedules and project plans; developing and managing process measurement metrics; maintaining and updating datasets for existing IWSG contract management tool suite; and reporting program status through data visualization. You will work alongside and regularly interact with senior SPA and Government stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $75k-$90k



Qualifications

Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree
  • 0-3 years of experience, including demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Excel to include data organization and sorting, pivot tables, formula development / Boolean logic, and data visualization
  • Understanding of basic statistical analysis principles, including evaluating datasets, recognizing trends, and providing insight based on findings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, collaboration, and organizational skills and strict attention to detail
  • Eligible for a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a DoD environment
  • Demonstrated familiarity with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Python, R, or SQL
