Overview
The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting the Product Marketing Lead in developing and executing our approach to leveraging partnerships and technology for maximum impact on City National Banks's brand and business objectives. This role will work closely with the bank's brand team and across various cross functional groups including our PR, Media, Social Media Marketing, Events, Creative, Sales and external agencies and partners. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviews and evaluates submissions from assigned partners, and prepares responses or redirects as needed.
Assists in managing workflow. Assists with campaign creation and strategy to generate leads. Assist in the development of process documents, tools, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders. Create presentations and assist with projects as needed. Create technical and non-technical content for sales and marketing purposes including case studies, product briefs, solution briefs, decks, blogs, and more. Responsible for writing creative briefs for marketing deliverables. Build relationships across internal and external partners to maximize achievement of our business objectives. Champion and lead ideas and initiatives with brand and cross functional partners. Administer all partnerships and assets for maximum brand/business impact against objectives. Continual immersion in and monitoring of the mortgage marketing landscape to identify new opportunities to engage our centers of influence, clients and prospects. Support planning, developing and executing of the bank's core mortgage marketing agenda including creative development, event activation and sales support. Facilitate partner and agency status meetings. Comply with all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). Collaborate with various departments, especially the product and sales teams, to drive marketing projects and meet team objectives. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2-4 Years of Experience (Required):
- For Profit institution
- B2B OR B2C Products and Services
- Local -or- Regional Marketing (e.g., Southeast)
Functional Roles:
- Agency (Account Management/Strategy) -or-
- Marketing Strategy -or-
- Marketing Communications -or-
- Marketing Program Management -or-
- Marketing Operations -or-
- Field Marketing -or-
- Market Development
5+ Years of Experience (Preferred):
- Regulated Industry (Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Medical)
- B2B and B2C Products/Services
- National Marketing (e.g., United States)

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance Required.
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, Entrepreneurship Preferred.
