What Your Schedule Will Look Like:

  • Standard Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday


Job Summary: Working as part of the Beverage Operations team, the Canning Line Operator (backup Filler Operator) is responsible for operating the high-speed canning/beverage production line equipment and creating, producing, and packaging products while collaborating within a team of peers. This position will cross train as a Filler Operator, responsible for operating the filler equipment of our high-speed canning/beverage production line and creating, producing, and packaging products.

What You'll Do:



  • Setup, operate and maintain filler equipment to ensure quality and efficiency of product output
  • Perform hourly quality checks to maintain specifications of product, following MMR instructions
  • Consistently read and assess real time meter values (Brix, Co2, water formula) to ensure no deviations or errors occur; act with sense of urgency to resolve errors and prevent production delays
  • Check cans for damage, scratches and imperfections
  • Perform and provide seam checks for quality, testing, and can integrity
  • Maintain CSW for can lid reload as needed
  • Troubleshoot issues immediately as they arise; alert lead and/or supervisor for assistance
  • Document all canning line and repack QA checks for accuracy following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
  • Notify maintenance of any equipment, mechanical issues, and necessary repairs with strong sense of urgency to minimize production delays
  • Safely, efficiently and effectively work to attain department and company goals and objectives
  • Communicate timely and effective with the quality team all requests and needs for testing and product integrity; notify quality team of issues that may result in out of spec product
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure equipment and product quality is maintained at all times
  • Complete daily cleaning and good housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe, clean and sanitary work environment is maintained at all times
  • Perform all duties with strict attention-to-detail to ensure product is packaged properly and efficiently, meeting all client requirements and output standards
  • Perform physical inventory of packaging materials and notify supervision of replenishment needs in a timely manner
  • Communicate all production-related concerns and matters to the supervisor as they arise for immediate attention
  • Cross-train with canning line operators to cover for breaks, PTO, absences, etc.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For:



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ year of machine operating experience, preferably on high-speed packaging equipment, is required
  • Previous experience as a filler operator within the food/beverage industry, with an understanding of food safety & quality requirements is strongly desired

  • Knowledge and ability to understand, operate and troubleshoot high-speed production line equipment
  • Ability to understand throw-rate & ratio settings
  • Ability to learn, operate and troubleshoot high-speed production line equipment
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed to fulfill production needs

  • Occasionally required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 pounds; bend at the waist; climb or balance
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to ten (10) or more hours in a single shift
