The Senior Manager of Process Design's primary job is to spearhead the optimization and innovation of our business processes. They will lead cross-functional teams, harnessing their expertise to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and drive productivity gains. The Senior Manager of Process Design position is a seasoned strategist with a passion for process excellence.
What will you be doing?
- Lead process design initiatives, fostering collaboration across departments to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategic process roadmaps, aligning with organizational objectives
- Mentor and guide process design teams, empowering them to deliver high-impact solutions
- Supports the maintenance of the change management program and establishes processes and expectations followed by 1LOD teams
- Conduct thorough process analyses, pinpointing inefficiencies and opportunities for innovation
- Design and implement new processes, leveraging industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless process adoption and sustainability
- Drive continuous improvement, monitoring key performance indicators and refining processes accordingly
- Understanding of financial services processes with respect to retail banking products (deposit accounts, credit cards, mortgage/HELOC, etc.)
- Proficient in the usage of process design and presentation tools (e.g. MS Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart).
- Willingness to learn and challenge the status quo in a fast-paced environment.
What do you need to succeed? Must have:
- 7-10 years of experience in a process design / implementation function
- 4+ years in the financial services or other regulated industries
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Self-motivated professional
Nice-to-have
- Certification in process design or a related field (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards
- Basic knowledge of technologies such as RPA, AI and Machine Learning.
- Familiarity with risks and controls frameworks such as COSO, ISO31000, etc.
