Cost Modeler

We are seeking an experienced Cost Modeler to join and support one of our federal projects

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the current budget execution for trend identification and cost management.
• Developing necessary reports (when requested by PM), templates and tools which can be replicated by the government to support the development of funding profiles and government cost models.
• The ability to deliver clear and concise reports and presentations
• Analysis of the current cost models and methodologies to standardize and streamline the approaches to support program execution.

Basic Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in using spreadsheets to create basic and complex cost estimating models
• 2 years of experience with the basics, guidelines and methods used in the cost analysis of equipment, systems and capabilities
• 2 years of experience analyzing cost data and providing support to business cases
• 2 years of experience developing LCCE models
• US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of work experience
• For deployed capabilities, the contractor shall assist the PM with identifying and performing a value assessment to quantity the return on investment (ROI) achieved.
• 5 years of experience in using spreadsheets to create basic and complex cost estimating models
• 5 years of experience with the basics, guidelines and methods used in the cost analysis of equipment, systems and capabilities
• 5 years of experience analyzing cost data and providing support to business cases
• 5 years of experience developing LCCE models
