Summary The Senior Contract Administrator works within the Legal Department and coordinates and executes all phases of a contract lifecycle including up-front communication, preparation of options for customers, revisions to terms and conditions, obtaining contract signatures and providing all relevant documentation for record retention and distribution to key stakeholders within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drafts contracts of moderate complexity and ancillary documents and independently coordinates legal review
- Tracks all deadlines and due diligence related to assigned contracts
- Tracks all correspondence and authorizations from internal and external partners
- Maintains organized, consistent and highly detailed files for each contract and all correspondence, amendments, clarifications, and other information related to the contract
- Serves as an ongoing and reliable point of contact for customers throughout the term of their contract.
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with both internal and external business partners and coordinates communication with company clients, client counsel, and company counsel to provide seamless customer interaction
- Provides research and timely responses to internal data requests including reports and regularly scheduled updates as requested
- Works directly and diligently with appointed legal counsel for review and approval of all contract work produced prior to outside distribution
- Analyzes base contract changes to mitigate risk and inform internal partners of the same
- Ensures negotiations and amendments go smoothly during the developmentof contractsby serving as a liaison between external and internal parties
- Special projects within the Business Development & Asset Management departments
- Ensures that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate policy and customer standards, correcting errors or omissions
- Ad hoc project work, system testing, and implementation as requested.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of contract legislation and regulations, in US, Canada and Europe
- Must be able to multi-task, be well organized, and flexible in fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated critical thinking, initiative and good judgement as well as constructive problem solving
- Professional and able to act within legal, ethical and risk boundaries
- Strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4-6 years' work experience in Commercial Real Estate or Legal Assisting
Work Environment The position will work in a general office setting and may require travel, up to 10% of time annually, to remote office locations based on organizational/business needs. Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position for the majority of the workday, sitting at a desk, consistently operating a computer. The person in this position must be able to access file cabinets and office machinery (to include a computer, copier, and fax machine). On occasion, may need to lift boxes of up to 50 lbs.
