Ensures timely processing of Workers' Compensation claims. Evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation. Serves as the primary health contact for injured employees in the work environment. If an RN, provides emergency evaluation and treatment for work related injuries. If not an RN, refers employees to appropriate department for emergency evaluation and treatment for work related injuries. Assures cost effective coordination of treatment, referral to preferred providers, collaborates with management in development of objectives for employee health services compatible with goals and objectives of the hospital. Documents accurately and helps to maintain required confidential employee and administrative records. Qualifications Education and Work Experience
Knowledge of theory, techniques and practices of employee health.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $28.00 to $37.68. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
