The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is someone who carries out respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as directed by the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, based on physician orders. The CRT focus on assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care while considering the specific needs of patients based on age and population, in the absence of a supervisor. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PRN.
