Health System Leader

Currently, Alliant Health Solutions, a "2023 Best Place to Work and Healthiest Employer", seeks a Health System Leader. This role is contingent on contract award. In accordance with customer contractual requirements, the Health System Leader will implement the goals of the QIN-QIO in an impactful, meaningful, and relevant manner in partnership with facilities and outpatient practices.

In this role, the ideal candidate will:

  • Utilize experience in health system operations to assist facilities and practices with mitigating challenges and implementing quality improvement projects to optimize business operations.
  • Work with management team to develop and implement action plans to reduce risks and ensure follow through with corrective actions.
  • Utilize quality improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance the overall quality of healthcare services, including assessing barriers to assist and facilitate effective healthcare delivery.
  • Operationalize healthcare facilitation models to optimize healthcare outcomes.
  • Evaluate and analyze trend data to identify areas of risk.
  • Identify training opportunities for both internal staff and external customers on healthcare leadership.

Other Job Functions

  • Work in close collaboration with other team members to support the development of new projects and the continuous improvement of the overall work of the team.

  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Demonstrate compliance with company corporate and departmental policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this role include:

  • Strong knowledge of health system operations, including the facilities within that system, the challenges, opportunities, and business framework, as well as service delivery framework
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to coach, lead and manage a team
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to work independently, use independent and sound judgment
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to communicate in verbal and written formats, includes presentation skills
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to build rapport, and collaborate with a team
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to manage and prioritize time; coordinate projects; and meet or exceed goals
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to assess and understand information up to and including implementation science methodologies to assess barriers and facilitate effective healthcare delivery.
  • Knowledge, skill and ability to use and understand Microsoft Office Suite; and Salesforce and Power BI or similar applications and tools
  • Ability to travel by car or plane to Company locations, customer meetings or other locations as needed

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or business administration or related field.
  • 5 or more years of administrative experience, including 3 years of experience in a senior hospital or healthcare leadership position

Preferred:

  • Certification in health quality or Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Masters preferred
