Manager - Provider Compensation
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager Provider Compensation is responsible for conducting and overseeing the administration of all compensation functions for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for VMG. The manager plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures. The manager will oversee all physician contract renewals, evaluation of annual compensation based on productivity and coordinating with the Chairs for establishing annual Goals and Objectives. The Manager serves as the lead contact for the implementation and management of the Provider Performance Management Technology used to administer the compensation plan. The manager will work with the SVP and CMO of VMG to manage and implement the Board approved compensation plan for all providers.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in business related field is required, Masters preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years of Medical Group compensation experience is required. A minimum of 5 years leadership experience Preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Outstanding technical compensation and analytical skills. Excellent working knowledge of personal computers, especially spreadsheet and word processing applications, is required. Professional and courteous inter-personal skills are a must, as this position has extensive interactions with executive staff, trustees, providers, and Chairs. Demonstrates high energy, creative, and a good sense of humor; and can take on the major responsibilities and tasks of this position. He/She is a hand on, working manager willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish required tasks. Projects a professional image reflected in behavior, maturity, appearance, and high integrity. Ability to develop and enhance professional relationships throughout the organization. Role models the organization's Leadership Standards.
