Electronic Technician

Key Role:

Serve as an electronic technician, conducting the assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment. Perform tasks, including the operations of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects. Leverage standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments. Work under general supervision. Perform routine work requiring no instruction, with general instructions given for new assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as an electrical technician
• Experience with electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components
• Knowledge of electronic component fabrication and assembly
• Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with building multi-level circuit boards
• Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with client engineers
• J-STD or IPC 610/620 certification
