Financial System Business Analyst, Lead

The Opportunity:

You know that true progress is made at the intersection of business and tech, and as an IT business analyst, you're highly skilled in both. Here, you'll have the chance to lead an agile team as they develop digital products to solve your clients' most pressing missions. We're looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

As an IT business analyst, you'll oversee leading-edge financial systems such as Deltek Costpoint Costpoint Business Intelligence, and Integrify workflows. You will guide your team of engineers and will work directly with the Booz Allen accounting team to identify clients' business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You'll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you'll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you'll deliver high business value products to Booz Allen leaders, staff, accountants, and regulators. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in government contracting financial management

  • 8+ years of experience with using and managing ERP systems to support government contractors, including Deltek Costpoint and Time and Expense

  • Experience with identifying issues and developing solutions related to ERP software and financial processes

  • Experience with government accounting compliance and audit processes

  • Experience working with regulatory agencies

  • Experience with using Agile techniques, including User Stories, for gathering and documenting requirements

  • Knowledge of accounting processes used by government contractors

  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements

  • Ability to partner with financial clients to identify issues and develop solutions be they process or technical

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with implementing Deltek Costpoint

  • Experience with transitioning from an on-premises implementation of Deltek Costpoint to Deltek Costpoint Cloud

  • Knowledge of SQL and Deltek Costpoint data model

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Deltek Costpoint or ERP Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
