SPA has an immediate or near term need for a Junior Subcontracts Administrator. The Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for supporting subcontract activities of multiple proposals and current programs. This position is for a problem-solving and competitive individual that has a passion to succeed.



Responsibilities

    Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements in accordance with company policy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Execute all aspects of the acquisition life-cycle from the development of new business to the resultant subcontract agreements of varying levels of dollar value, risk, and complexity.
  • Work as an integral team player with the SPA Director of Subcontracts, SPA Contracts Administrators, and Program Managers for contract success.
  • Be responsible for creating CPSR compliant subcontract files.
  • Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relations at all levels of the organization, acting as liaison with subcontractors for all proposal and subcontract matters.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 0-3+ years of experience in procurement and subcontract administration with contractors to the federal government.

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Ability to be flexible and work independently or collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  • Eligibility for a DoD security clearance desired.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
