What You'll Do:

• Support day-to-day team needs for one of the most sought-after teams in the agency, ensuring seamless execution of earned media strategies
• Establish working relationship with clients and team
• Engage with clients and agency partners on a regular basis to create innovative programs that help shine a positive light on the client and brand
• Assist in managing workflow and project management of the team
• Stay up to date on the news and emerging trends and keep team members in the know, identifying opportunities for proactive outreach
• Mine for media opportunities tied to what's trending in culture and conduct outreach to secure high-impact earned media placements
• Develop communications materials including media lists, key messages, press releases, results reports and client correspondence, with a focus on maximizing earned media coverage
• Perform research and audits supporting client opportunities, identifying earned media angles and outlets
• Manage timelines and deadlines for campaigns, ensuring timely and effective execution
• Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with all members of a cross-functional team, contributing to the development and implementation of overarching campaigns with an emphasis on earned media strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR/communications, business, or related field
• Understanding of the earned media landscape
• Passion for storytelling
• Clear and concise writing and editing skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
• A detail-oriented approach to your work
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams at all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge/experience with retail media
• 1+ years communications (or related) experience
• Experience in eCommerce

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations. Salary range: $40,000 - $55,000
