Description

Apogee is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant in support of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L) Program Executive Office for Fixed Wing (PEO-FW). The men and women of PEO-FW remain committed to developing capabilities to address the National Defense Strategy priorities, testing and fielding weapon systems, focused on providing advantages in near-peer competition and sustaining cost-effective technologies for counter-violent extremist operations. PEO-FW supports SOF operators in everything they do, from developing next-generation platforms to rapidly fielding precision strike capabilities. This is a full-time position located at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), FL.

What you will be doing:



  • Perform all office administrative duties at the O-6/GS-15 level, including travel, calendar, meetings, phone calls, correspondence, and office supplies.
  • Manage PEO-FW email with PEO-level messaging, as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal/external meetings, conference calls, video teleconferences, and events.
  • Manage travel, prepare travel itineraries, and provide meeting agendas, as required.
  • Employ high-level proficiency in TMT, DTS, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint to manage PEO-FW administrative activities.
  • Plan and coordinate administrative functions and provide information, assistance, and advice regarding official PEO-FW functions.
  • Act as interface for high-level military and governmental visits/matters regarding programs under congressional oversight.
  • Conduct data calls and execute workflow tasks in enterprise systems.
  • Coordinate setup and execution of video teleconference (VTC) meetings in both open and secure environments.


Minimum Requirements

Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain Secret clearance

Education: High school diploma

Years of Experience: 11 years' experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant including:



  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite


  • Experience working with executive-level internal and external stakeholder organizations


  • Functional experience as a files and record management specialist at the executive level


  • Experience in written and verbal protocol at the senior executive level


  • Independent working level knowledge of Forms 14, Defense Travel System (DTS), Task Management Tool (TMT), SharePoint Portal, VTC procedures, and Meeting Scheduler
