POSITION OVERVIEW

Perform duties of assembling, inspecting, and packing of all products.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities)

  • Press safety checks
  • Perform setup on Denison and roll loader
  • Perform all operations required to complete the assembly of a variety of bearings. This may include loading rollers, seating end plates, peening end plates, seating seals, and greasing.
  • Inspect parts visually and rotates components to assure free rotation.
  • Grease bearings by hand or with air activated greaser.
  • Repair rejects with the use of hand press or enter-pak for larger bearings.
  • Package bearings: bag, box, close, and pack. May pack in unit cartons, ten-pack cartons, or bulk cartons. Place labels on individual cartons as necessary.
  • Load boxes of smaller bearings on pallets
  • Record all necessary information: production, set-up, inspection, etc.
  • Read prints and routings, measure bearing components using column gages, DC gage, Keyence gage, calipers, micrometers, and ruler.
  • Maintain housekeeping of work area and surrounding areas.
  • Assist other assemblers as necessary
  • Perform first piece approval per set up approval process.
  • Operate precision measuring equipment
  • Follow Ethics and Safety Programs
  • Adhere to all Export, Import and Supply Chain Security Policy requirement relevant to the position
  • Follow State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs
  • Adhere to ISO 9000 Standards
  • Job duties include but are not limited to the above
