Role Overview:

The Senior Proposal Coordinator will support the consulting staff's proposal development efforts by overseeing and maintaining the proposal technology platform, providing analytics, and reporting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. In addition to oversight of the technical functionality, they will assist in helping to build and maintain the system's content libraries, user interface, and AI tools. The Senior Proposal Coordinator will also contribute to product development and manage related change management initiatives.

How You'll Help Our Team Succeed:

  • Collaborate with consultants and administrative team members to gather relevant information for inclusion in pitch and proposals.

  • Maintain and update the proposal system, ensuring it is user-friendly and up to date with the latest content and branded templates.

  • Track and analyze the success rate of pitches and proposals to identify areas for improvement and best practices.

  • Assist with proposal presentations by providing logistical and technical support.

  • Support the formatting and editing efforts led by the Graphics team on proposal documents.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role; legal or professional services experience preferred.

  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.

  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.

  • The mindset to provide superior service.

  • Experience with pitch and proposal technology platforms.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

  • Experience working on proposals, reading, and analyzing requests for proposals (RFPs).

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service focus, excellent problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to act independently.

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

FOR WASHINGTON, DC ONLY: Cornerstone Research is offering a competitive market base salary for this position between $65,200 and $79,000. A job offer will depend on how closely a candidate's skills, experience and education match the requirements for the role. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes annual performance bonus and generous benefits.

FOR NEW YORK CITY ONLY: Cornerstone Research is offering a competitive market base salary for this position between $68,300 and $82,900. A job offer will depend on how closely a candidate's skills, experience and education match the requirements for the role. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes annual performance bonus and generous benefits.
