HDR is seeking to hire a Computational Designer Intern to join our Data-Driven Design team. This role welcomes individuals pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in architecture or engineering with a strong foundation in computer science. As a Computational Designer Intern, you will play a vital role in developing innovative design tools that HDR designers worldwide will utilize. If you are passionate about combining the fields of architecture, engineering, and computer science to impact design technology significantly, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:



    • Help develop computational design tools and workflows to improve the architectural design process.
    • Work on creating and applying AI solutions and applications to enhance architectural design.
    • Work with teams from different disciplines to integrate computational design solutions smoothly into projects.



    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
    • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
